Hospital Maintenance Technician
About The Position
A small-town hospital just outside Virginia, Minnesota, is seeking a full-time, permanent Hospital Maintenance Technician. The position is a direct-hire role, Monday through Friday during standard business hours, in a described excellent work environment with a team and benefits. The technician is responsible for the overall safety and operational efficiency of the facility’s work environment. The role includes routine maintenance checks, troubleshooting, and necessary repairs of hospital equipment and systems. The technician should have a strong background in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
- High-school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Certification from a technical academic institution in electricity, plumbing, or a similar field.
- Minnesota Special Boiler License, or eligibility to obtain one before hire.
Nice To Haves
- One year of work experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Support the overall safety and operational efficiency of the facility’s work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance checks.
- Troubleshoot hospital equipment and systems.
- Complete necessary repairs to hospital equipment and systems.
- Handle repairs and maintenance involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
