About The Position

The Hospital Maintenance Painter, also referred to as a Facilities Painter, helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The role involves painting, wall repairs, and surface preparation throughout the hospital while following safety and infection-control standards. This is a full-time, day-shift position at Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, Georgia, with hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid current state driver's license.
• Able to troubleshoot and read schematics and/or blueprints.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 0–1 years of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, patch, sand, prime, and paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other surfaces.
• Perform drywall repairs, touch-ups, and routine cosmetic maintenance throughout the facility.
• Match paint colors and finishes to maintain a consistent, professional appearance.
• Follow hospital safety, infection-prevention, and work-area cleanliness requirements.
• Collaborate with the Facilities team while minimizing disruption to patients and hospital operations.
