About The Position
Arizona PPE Recon, Inc. is a verified Independent Service Provider (ISP) specializing in NFPA 1851-compliant cleaning, inspection, and repair services for firefighter protective gear. Join our team and help keep first responders safe by ensuring their gear meets the highest standards. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves sewing heavy-duty materials and performing repairs on firefighter protective gear. If you have strong attention to detail and experience with industrial sewing machines, we want to hear from you!
Requirements
- Experience sewing heavy materials
- Proficiency with industrial sewing machines
- Ability to sew straight lines and maintain attention to detail
- Willingness to work 40+ hours per week and occasional overtime
- Positive attitude, high energy, and team-oriented mindset
- Reliable, punctual, and able to adhere to deadlines
- Must pass a sewing skills demonstration prior to hiring
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines to repair and alter protective garments
- Sew heavy materials accurately and consistently
- Maintain quality standards and meet deadlines
- Assist with other tasks as needed to support the team
