About The Position

Lincoln Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Machine Operator at its Houston, Texas location. This hourly, non-exempt role operates CNC machines safely and efficiently to produce quality products that contribute to the company’s targeted profit level. The position is identified as a night shift, full-time role. The operator performs complex CNC machine setups, manufactures API products and customer-specific products, meets daily production requirements, and maintains tooling and an orderly workstation. Applicants should have extensive CNC lathe experience; experience with tubular raw materials is a strong plus.

Requirements

Extensive experience operating CNC lathes, including both short-bed and long-bed machines.
Thorough knowledge of machining an assortment of thread profiles.
Ability to perform complex CNC machine setups efficiently without assistance.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with tubulars as raw material is a strong plus.
Experience operating and setting up CNC mills and multi-spindle/multi-turret machines is a plus.

Responsibilities

Wear safety equipment throughout working hours.
Manufacture API products and/or customer-specific products.
Perform complex setups on CNC machine tools efficiently and without assistance.
Machine an assortment of thread profiles.
Stamp each processed part when requested.
Meet daily production requirements efficiently.
Inform the Quality Inspector about machine setups requiring first- and/or last-article inspections.
Maintain company tooling, machines, plug gauges, and other quality tools in good working condition.
Verify that pallets received at the workstation are identified.
Notify the Supervisor of safety, quality, production, or maintenance problems.
Arrive at work on time daily.
Keep the workstation clean and organized.
