About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Ability to perform basic math functions. Set up equipment in preparation for startup. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with rapid hand and eye coordination to move product on a conveyor and/or other processing equipment. Must be able to constantly stand/stoop/walk/bend. Occasional climbing of stairs several times per hour when required. Ability to work in wet and cold temperatures at 35 degrees. Able to complete all paperwork and SAP functions as required for the position. Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.

Requirements

  • This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
  • Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
  • Must have 6 months of continuous employment in the last 18 months.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 6 months of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture or production experience.
