CNC Machine Operator - Level 3 - 1st Shift - Eastlake, Ohio
About The Position
As a machine operator on Swagelok’s manufacturing team, you will produce fluid-system components to quality standards. The role emphasizes hands-on work, independent operation, learning technical skills across a variety of machines, maintaining production quality, and recognizing when additional support is needed, with safety as a priority. Tools and gauges are provided. The work takes place in a clean, modern, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting fractions and decimals.
- Self-motivation and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements described, including regular lifting of 25–35 pounds and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Pass required vision acuity testing, where applicable.

Responsibilities
- Participate in daily shift start-up meetings and give or receive shift handoff reports.
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment according to standard work instructions.
- Follow standard work instructions and quality plans to meet specifications.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring and inspection equipment.
- Monitor machine outputs; identify quality, machining, tooling, and process issues; and escalate issues to support associates.
- Complete preventative maintenance and routine machine care.
- Accurately document production activities and maintain manufacturing records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow safety procedures.
