About The Position
ARCH Cutting Tools – Athol is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. This role involves programming and operating multi-axis CNC machines to produce intricate parts. The operator will be responsible for setting up machines, selecting tooling, calibrating equipment, inspecting parts for quality, and troubleshooting machine issues. The company offers a supportive environment that encourages and rewards employee performance. ARCH Cutting Tools is a manufacturer of metal cutting tools with over 30 years of experience.
Requirements
- Meticulous problem-solver with an eye for detail.
- Self-motivated, a team player, and ready to learn.
- Experience with manual mills, lathes, grinders, and support equipment.
- Experience with 3 and 4 axis CNC Mills (HAAS, Prototrak).
- Experience with CNC lathes (Mazak, Citizen Miyano, Mori Seiki).
- Experience with High Precision 5 axis CNC Walter Grinders.
Responsibilities
- Program and operate multi-axis CNC programs for intricate parts.
- Set up machines, select tooling, and calibrate for peak performance.
- Inspect parts, ensuring they meet strict blueprints and specifications using precision tools.
- Diagnose and resolve machine issues, keeping production smooth.
- Collaborate to improve processes and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
