About The Position

Pretium Packaging is hiring multiple Machine Operators to support its manufacturing process. The role involves setting up and operating plastic molding machines, monitoring performance, carrying out routine maintenance, and inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Operators make adjustments and troubleshoot production issues as needed, maintain raw-material inventory, and follow safety and cleanliness procedures. The position is responsible for food safety, food quality, and site safety.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong understanding of plastic manufacturing processes and equipment.
Mechanical aptitude or training and technical training on packaging, plastics, and printing equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience operating plastic molding machines.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to established procedures.
Monitor machines during operation and make adjustments as necessary.
Perform routine machine maintenance to support optimal performance.
Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as necessary.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Maintain raw-material inventory and notify the supervisor when supplies need replenishment.
Follow established safety protocols and keep the work area clean and organized.
Perform other duties as assigned.
