About The Position

Pretium Packaging is hiring a Utility Worker to support the smooth operation and maintenance of production processes and contribute to the efficiency and quality of manufacturing outputs. The position assists with manufacturing equipment setup and operation, routine inspections and preventive maintenance, material inventory, troubleshooting, housekeeping, and compliance with standard operating procedures and safety requirements. The role is also responsible for food safety, food quality, and site safety.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior manufacturing experience; plastics industry experience is preferred.
Ability to safely and efficiently operate various types of machinery and equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when necessary.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in the plastics industry.

Responsibilities

Assist in setting up and operating manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Perform scheduled routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
Manage material inventory and ensure supplies are available for production.
