About The Position

Pretium Packaging is hiring a Utility Worker to help ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of production processes and contribute to the efficiency and quality of manufacturing outputs. The position assists with manufacturing equipment setup and operation, routine inspections and preventive maintenance, material inventory, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The Utility Worker follows standard operating procedures and safety guidelines and is responsible for food safety, food quality, and site safety.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education.
Ability to operate various types of machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when necessary.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the plastics industry.

Responsibilities

Assist in setting up and operating manufacturing equipment and machinery.
