About The Position

The Advanced Manufacturing Machine Operator programs, sets up, and operates CNC and robotic fabrication equipment used to process structural steel components. The role suits someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable with basic computer skills, and interested in advanced manufacturing equipment. Previous related experience is preferred but not required. The work takes place in a fast-paced steel fabrication environment and requires attention to safety, quality, and production goals. All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure, blueprints, and shop drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced steel fabrication environment.

Nice To Haves

• Interest in CNC machines, robotics, automation, or manufacturing.
• Previous experience with CNC machines, fabrication, welding, machining, or equipment operation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC and robotic fabrication equipment.
• Read shop drawings and production information.
• Load machine programs and verify measurements.
• Produce accurate steel components that meet quality standards.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
• Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Track production and material usage.
• Work with fabrication and quality teams to meet production goals.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
