About The Position

Requirements

• Valid, current RN or LVN nursing license; nonlicensed applicants will be rejected.
• Valid, current CPR card for healthcare workers.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and fill in when needed.
• Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
• Current driver's license and auto insurance, and ability to operate an automobile.
• Ability to be completely mobile to lift and transfer a patient from one location to another.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing procedures to assist with patient treatment and rehabilitation, within the nurse's training, skills, and judgment.
• Participate in assessment planning and in implementing and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the clinical supervisor.
• Provide health counseling, emotional support, and parental education.
• Coordinate care with other agencies and physician offices involved in patient care.
• Provide care to pediatric patients in a home healthcare setting.
