RN/LVN Pediatric Home Health Nurse
About The Position
Children's Home Healthcare provides pediatric home healthcare for medically complex children and is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide compassionate patient care. Available cases range from low acuity to high acuity. The posting highlights a weekend, low-acuity schedule of 0900–1700 and an extern program with training opportunities for new graduates and nurses with little to no experience. The nurse assists with treatment and rehabilitation by performing nursing procedures within the scope of their training, skills, and judgment. The role participates in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the clinical supervisor; provides health counseling, emotional support, and parental education; and coordinates care with other agencies and physician offices involved in the patient's care.
Requirements
- Valid and current RN or LVN nursing license.
- Valid and current CPR card for healthcare workers.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and fill in when needed.
- Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
- Able to operate an automobile and hold a current driver's license and auto insurance.
- Completely mobile and able to lift and transfer a patient from one location to another.
