RN/LVN Pediatric Home Health Nurse
About The Position
Children's Home Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide compassionate pediatric home healthcare to medically complex children. Cases range from low to high acuity, with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. The posting highlights a Monday-to-Friday, 0800–1700 high-acuity schedule and also notes flexible hours and a willingness to fill in when needed. Nurses assist with treatment and rehabilitation by performing nursing procedures within their training and judgment. They participate in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the clinical supervisor; provide health counseling, emotional support, and parental education; and coordinate care with other agencies and physician offices involved in the patient's care. New graduates and nurses with little to no experience may ask about the extern program and training opportunities.
Requirements
- Valid, current RN or LVN nursing license.
- Valid, current CPR card for healthcare workers.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and fill in when needed.
- Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
- Current driver’s license and auto insurance, and ability to operate an automobile.
- Ability to be completely mobile to lift and transfer a patient from one location to another.

Responsibilities
