About The Position
Regional Health Services is hiring a Clinic RN, LPN or CMA in Cresco, Iowa. The Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse serves as a resource nurse who plans, coordinates, evaluates, provides, and delivers health care services to patients. The Medical Assistant supports the medical field by performing medical and clerical activities to help assure quality care and an efficient workplace. The position requires a professional, communicative, organized, and adaptable team member. The successful candidate must obtain BCLS certification within three months of hire or placement in the position.
Requirements
- RN or LPN candidates must graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- RN or LPN candidates must hold a current Iowa LPN or RN license.
- CMA candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and graduate from an approved medical assistant school.
- CMA candidates must obtain medical assistant certification within six months of hire.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain and display professionalism with customers and coworkers.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, and workflow skills.
- Advanced knowledge of nursing practice, including the ability to make sound clinical judgments.
- Understanding of teaching and learning principles.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Obtain BCLS certification within three months of hire or placement in the position.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of previous ambulatory care nursing experience for RN or LPN candidates.
- At least six months of previous work experience in a health care facility performing patient-care-related duties for CMA candidates.
- Computer skills.
Responsibilities
- For the RN or LPN: Plan, coordinate, evaluate, provide, and deliver health care services to patients as a resource nurse.
- For the CMA: Perform medical and clerical activities to support quality patient care and workplace efficiency.
