About The Position

Provides direct patient care activities, including IV management, using the nursing process under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role provides care and supports planning based on patients’ ages and developmental needs. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and a rotating schedule that includes every fourth weekend. It is sign-on bonus eligible for $3,000, and benefits are available from day one. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
No experience required.
No supervisor experience required.

Nice To Haves

LPN IV certification is preferred.
Less than two years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Implements treatments and procedures within the Licensed Practical Nurse’s scope of practice.
Provides patient teaching and discharge planning under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Participates in professional development and lifelong learning.
Performs patient assessment and evaluation based on the patient’s age and developmental needs.
Assists in developing and updating the plan of care based on the patient’s age and developmental needs.
Implements the plan of care based on the patient’s age and developmental needs.
Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
