About The Position
Aviata Health Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care to residents and patients in its skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Brandon, Florida. The LPN assists residents with activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse. The role is suited to someone who values compassionate, person-centered care and working in a family/team environment.
Requirements
- Possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an LPN.
- Be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation facilities is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for assigned residents.
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and participate in their evaluation.
- Oversee the Falls Program and Pressure Sore Program.
- Provide nursing services.
- Conduct and document thorough evaluations of each resident’s medical status upon admission and throughout the course of treatment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
