About The Position
The Korean Bilingual Logistic Manager oversees a third-party logistics (3PL) provider, warehouse KPIs, and the site. This is a fully onsite role in Troy, Michigan, for a leading one-stop purchasing solution partner. The manager oversees shipping, receiving, and warehouse personnel, contributes directly to warehouse activities during busy periods, and helps maintain customer service and fulfillment performance. The role also manages inventory records, communicates fulfillment information to management, sales, and finance, and works with headquarters. Travel by plane and automobile is required, with travel of up to 40%.
Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
- At least 3 years of experience in logistics operations.
- Team leadership skills to motivate, direct, and advise shipping, receiving, and warehouse personnel.
- Excellent organizational skills for record-keeping, tracking shipping and receiving data, and updating inventory.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and management to resolve customer issues and questions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.

- Experience with SAP/ERP.
Responsibilities
- Manage the 3PL provider through warehouse KPIs and oversee the site.
- Oversee shipping, receiving, and warehouse personnel within logistics operations.
- Contribute directly to shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities during busy periods to support customer service and prevent operational backlogs.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure inventory changes are promptly and accurately recorded in internal supply chain systems.
- Provide management, sales, and finance teams with key customer fulfillment information.
- Participate in staff training and evaluation to maintain a high level of customer service.
- Set and maintain warehouse safety standards.
- Review contracts for 3PL services, properties, and suppliers.
- Monitor outsourcing managers and assist the director with cost and expense reports and manufacturing timetables.
- Communicate with headquarters.
- Travel by plane and automobile as required.
