Korean Bilingual - Logistic Manager
About The Position
The Logistic Manager oversees third-party logistics (3PL) operations through warehouse KPIs and oversees the site. The role manages shipping, receiving, and warehouse personnel, and contributes directly to warehouse activities during busy periods to maintain customer service and prevent teams from falling behind during high-order-volume periods. The manager maintains accurate inventory records in internal supply chain systems and provides management, sales, and finance teams with information about customer fulfillment. The position also involves staff training and evaluation, maintaining warehouse safety standards, reviewing contracts for 3PL services, properties, and suppliers, monitoring outsourcing managers, and assisting the director with cost and expense reports and manufacturing timetables. The role communicates with headquarters and requires travel by plane and automobile, with travel of up to 40%. The position is fully onsite in Troy, Michigan.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in logistics operations.
- Team leadership experience and skills to motivate, direct, and advise shipping, receiving, and warehouse personnel.
- Excellent organizational skills for record-keeping, tracking shipping and receiving data, and updating inventory.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and management and resolve customer issues or questions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Ability to travel by plane and automobile and travel up to 40%.
- Korean bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

- Participate in staff training and evaluation to support a high level of customer service.
- Set and maintain warehouse safety standards.
- Review contracts for 3PL services, properties, and suppliers.
- Monitor outsourcing managers and assist the director with calculating cost and expense reports and manufacturing timetables.
- Communicate with headquarters.
- Travel by plane and automobile, with travel of up to 40%.
