About The Position

The Logistic Pricing Analyst (Korean Bilingual) is a one-year contractor role on the Pricing team, based in Plano, Texas. The role focuses on end-to-end air freight procurement, including sourcing logistics providers and airlines, managing RFQs and RFPs, negotiating rates, and securing capacity. The position also performs cost and market analysis, supports customer pricing proposals and business development, maintains procurement systems and records, and collaborates with internal teams and global procurement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance preferred.
At least 4 years of experience in freight forwarding, 3PL, or logistics sourcing/operations, with a strict focus on air freight.
Hands-on experience managing RFP/RFQ processes and conducting financial data analysis.
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation, VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, SUMIF, and Power Query.
Strong problem-solving abilities and negotiation tactics.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional global teams.
Ability to thrive and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work additional hours, weekends, or holidays when required to meet critical business needs.
Willingness to travel up to 20% for business-related needs.
Korean bilingual capability.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working directly within a major freight forwarder, broker company, or 3PL.
Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, qualify, and register logistics suppliers, including airlines, freight forwarders, GSAs, CFSs, air cargo handling agents, and drayage and intermodal carriers.
Develop strategic relationships with logistics service providers and conduct supplier capability assessments, performance evaluations, and risk analysis.
Maintain supplier databases and vendor qualification records.
Source and negotiate direct airline agreements, including Block Space Agreements, GSA Agreements, and applicable Special Rate Agreements.
Negotiate transportation rates, capacity allocations, service commitments, payment terms, and contractual conditions.
Coordinate with Legal to review, finalize, and execute transportation agreements; monitor compliance, expirations, and renewals.
Develop, issue, and manage RFQ/RFP packages for current customer accounts and new business opportunities.
Collect, organize, and validate supplier quotations; coordinate competitive bidding events and ensure submissions meet procurement standards and customer requirements.
Analyze transportation quotations and costs across air freight, fuel surcharges, security charges, terminal handling, documentation, pickup and delivery, customs brokerage, dangerous goods, and accessorial charges.
Build financial simulations and cost comparison models; perform landed-cost and total-logistics-cost analyses.
Benchmark air freight rates, carrier capacity, and transit times, and recommend carrier and forwarder selections based on cost, service, and operational performance.
Develop procurement strategies, identify sourcing opportunities, evaluate market trends and seasonal pricing changes, and support annual procurement initiatives and carrier sourcing events.
Partner with Sales to develop logistics solutions and transportation strategies, support new business implementation, and prepare pricing proposals for customer bids and tenders.
Administer procurement and quotation management systems; maintain sourcing documentation and records; prepare reports, KPI dashboards, and supplier performance metrics.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, Customer Service, and Global Procurement, and support continuous improvement across procurement and pricing processes.
