About The Position

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited college or university; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents and advocate for children to problem-solve effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, and the ability to work with all stakeholders.
• Commitment to increasing students' academic and social-emotional growth to obtain the highest level of achievement for every student.
• Knowledge of DESE Digital Literacy and Computer Science Standards.
• Knowledge of library management systems.
• Successful completion of NCBC fingerprinting and CORI screening before starting employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with accessing web-based reading and math interventions.
• Catalog materials to facilitate the effective retrieval of information.
• Assist staff with accessing student progress data on web-based interventions.
• Monitor student behavior as outlined in the Acceptable Use Policies (AUP).
• Provide guidance, communicate high expectations, and show an active interest in student progress.
• Facilitate critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.
