About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with large industrial equipment.
• Hold a valid Millwright Journeyman Red Seal ticket.
• Own and maintain a complete set of hand tools, as required by the trade.
• Basic computer skills.
• Competent operating a motor vehicle.
• The capacity to work as part of a team and work independently.
• Reliability and dependability
• Successfully passing, physical, d&A and criminal background check is mandatory
• The capacity to work in the Millwright environment. (Confined space, working at heights, working in extreme environments – heat, cold dust etc.)
• Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems.
• Inspect and test equipment and make appropriate decisions.
• Operate light mobile equipment, motorized manlifts and overhead cranes.
• Competent in PPW, to be able to add comments at the end of shift.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
