The Human Resources Business Partner will provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies and employment legislation for assigned divisions, promoting consistent application within established practices. This role requires maintaining a strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and interpreting changes. The HR Business Partner will offer recommendations and guidance on performance management, including coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, and separations. They will also resolve employee relations issues and conduct investigations, analyze HR and business data to identify trends and recommend solutions, and facilitate meetings with management teams to provide HR support. Building partnerships with management teams to strengthen morale and advance productivity and retention initiatives is key. The role involves providing guidance on job changes, restructures, workforce planning, and retention strategies, as well as collaborating with managers on onboarding and offboarding processes. Additionally, the HR Business Partner will identify training opportunities, partner with management on unemployment claims, support change initiatives, maintain confidentiality, and act in accordance with the company's culture of safety and employee ownership. Compliance with laws, company policies, and punctual attendance are also required.
