About The Position
The Arbor Day Foundation is seeking a Dining Room Host/Hostess to join their team at the Lied Lodge at Arbor Day Farm. This role is ideal for someone with great customer service skills, a desire to provide exceptional service, and flexibility in their schedule, including weekend mornings or evenings. The position offers a fast-paced work environment where the host will greet guests, manage reservations, provide menus, answer questions, and seat guests. The role also involves engaging with customers to ensure satisfaction with service and food, building rapport, and working as part of a team to create a positive guest experience. The Arbor Day Foundation emphasizes a culture of kindness, collaboration, and a shared purpose in their work.
Requirements
- Great customer service skills.
- Desire to provide service that is warm, welcoming, and exceptional to all guests.
- Flexibility in schedule, including weekend mornings or evenings.
- Ability to smile and be courteous to guests.
- Energetic and positive team player.
- Passion for sharing knowledge on cuisine and the foundation's mission.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they enter the dining room.
- Take reservations.
- Provide menus to guests.

- Work as a team to ensure a positive experience for guests.
