About The Position

Requirements

• Active WA State MA-C license required
• Current Washington State Driver's License: and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state
• BLS - Basic Life Support (includes RQI) (required). May be obtained through an in-house training program within 30 days

Nice To Haves

• Three (3) years combined experience in functional specialty and education/ precepting /training preferred, or a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum Two (2) years of teaching experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate new employee orientation, onboarding, and ongoing training activities for Retail Health employees within assigned region(s).
• Participate in curriculum updates and job aids, under the direction of the Regional Training Manager.
• Develop strong relationships with clinic leadership in assigned region(s).
• Adapt and flex to dynamic environments and to the needs of learners and operational performance.
• Apply PDCA (plan, do, check and adjust) for education tools in collaboration with peers and management to ensure ongoing learning and process improvement.
• Deliver classes, onboarding programs, coaching and ad hoc training.
• Maintain standardized required knowledge, skills, and abilities to train clinic staff in the specialty areas served.
• Assist in facilitating orientation and continuing education activities for staff in collaboration with clinical leaders and management.
• Deliver front office, revenue cycle, clinic flow, back office, leadership training, and Epic documentation training for clinical staff as applicable.
• Innovate ways to enhance learning outcomes and training efficiency.
• Ensure employee competency throughout training and completion of training.
• Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) by coaching staff through clinic rounding, led by data and feedback from training leadership, operations and quality teams.
• Ensure education activities and resources are within the provisions of the objectives of Retail Health MultiCare policies, ethics, and standards; and federal, state, and local regulations.
