This position is for an experienced Executive Chef in Cocoa, FL, responsible for leading kitchen operations, delivering high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, managing inventory, and leading a successful culinary team.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
  • Hands-on chef leadership required
  • Strong knowledge of food quality, cost controls, sanitation, and presentation
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • High-volume foodservice experience preferred
  • Institutional, batch cooking, or catering experience a plus
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations
  • Prepare or direct meal production to company standards
  • Develop regular and modified menus
  • Ensure recipe, portion, and presentation compliance
  • Complete production and waste logs
  • Train staff on food prep, safety, sanitation, and equipment use
  • Manage cleaning and maintenance schedules
  • Control food and supply inventory within budget
  • Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • Participate in meetings and staff development programs
