Responsibilities

• Embody Glossier’s core values and model its customer experience principles and Selling Ceremony.
• Build expertise in the product portfolio, including product basics, benefits, application, formulas, recommendations, and care.
• Lead inclusive and interactive product demonstrations, applications, recommendations, and routine building.
• Engage customers with a hospitality mindset during in-store events and activations.
• Develop selling behaviors to help meet and exceed business objectives and key performance indicators.
• Build relationships with new and repeat customers through thoughtful clienteling before and after store visits.
• Meet customer service expectations and serve as an advisor and resource to existing and new team members.
• Monitor customer feedback and share relevant information with store leadership and stakeholders.
• Represent the Glossier brand and share enthusiasm for product launches, activations, and special events.
• Promote a safe work environment and promptly report safety concerns to management.
• Communicate feedback about inventory logistics, packaging, and customers’ physical experience with products.
• Support product demonstrations, particularly for new hires, cross-training team members, and new product launches.
• Collaborate with store leadership and team members on special projects and assignments.
• Maintain inventory, store facilities, equipment, and technology, with attention to upkeep, organization, and safety.
• Follow store safety standards and applicable federal and state guidelines.
• Restock and replenish inventory using inventory systems, reporting, and store logistics processes.
• Fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, manage, and inspect shipments, and report discrepancies.
• Participate in visual projects such as display activations, floor moves, product launches, and brand events.
• Follow uniform and presentation guidelines.
• Learn and support front- and back-of-house operational procedures, including assisting newly hired team members.
• Maintain confidentiality, particularly when handling customer information and sensitive company information.
• Manage multiple customer requests while maintaining service standards.
