About The Position
Natural Support Services is seeking compassionate Residence Counselors to provide direct support to individuals in residential and respite settings. Residence Counselors help individuals maintain a safe, supportive, and structured home environment while promoting independence and personal development.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to support individuals with developmental, intellectual, or behavioral health needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts if needed
- Reliable transportation preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily living activities
- Supporting individuals with personal care needs
- Preparing meals
- Encouraging community participation
- Following each individual's Person Centered Plan (PCP)
- Working as part of a team to ensure individuals receive consistent, high-quality support in a respectful and person-centered environment
