About The Position

Requirements

  • 18+ years old
  • High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required.
  • Valid Driver’s License & Good Driving Record
  • CPR/First Aid and MAP certification required (paid training provided if needed).

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day services to program participants.
  • Assist and/or teach individuals varying levels of personal care, including bathing, toileting, and teeth brushing.
  • Assist and/or teach individuals household maintenance, meal preparation, and/or shopping.
  • Provide ongoing opportunities for individuals to assume increasing control and responsibility over their daily lives.
  • Accompany individuals on appointments.
  • Administer medications (or support self-medication) in accordance with residential guidelines.
  • Follow routines of the individuals, including Behavior Support Plans, personal care, and Physical Therapy.
  • Participate in a paid 5-day New Employee Orientation.
  • Receive training on CPR/First Aid, Safety Care, Defensive Driving, and Medication Administration Program (MAP).
  • Receive program-specific training at the work site.
