About The Position

Clarity Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support Members with varying abilities in residential group homes. DSPs help Members navigate everyday activities, build independence, work toward personal goals, and enjoy fulfilling lives. The role includes personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, mobility assistance, and support with social and community activities. The organization provides paid training; prior caregiving experience or certifications are not required. Full-time and part-time positions with flexible shifts are available.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma, equivalent education, and/or relevant work or life experience.
Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and ability to meet agency driving standards.
Ability to successfully complete required caregiver background checks.
Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
Dependability and willingness to work as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desire to help others build independence and achieve their goals.
Willingness to assist with hands-on personal care and everyday household responsibilities.
No prior caregiving experience or certifications required.

Responsibilities

Assist Members with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, personal hygiene, and other daily activities according to individual care plans.
Provide mobility and transfer assistance using appropriate techniques and equipment.
Encourage Members to make choices, develop skills, and work toward personal goals.
Provide compassionate, respectful support that promotes dignity and independence.
Prepare and serve meals while following individual dietary needs and preferences.
Help maintain a clean, comfortable home through housekeeping, laundry, and other household activities.
Support daily routines that contribute to a positive residential home.
Accompany Members to social activities, recreational outings, and community events.
Encourage participation in activities that reflect Members’ interests and personal goals.
Build trusting relationships and celebrate Members’ achievements.
Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to provide consistent, person-centered support.
Follow individualized service plans, safety procedures, and organizational policies.
Complete required documentation and communicate important updates regarding Member care.
