About The Position

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE in cloud-native SaaS environments.
• Expertise in AWS, including EKS, RDS/Aurora, IAM, VPC, and cost management, and solid GCP experience.
• Production-scale Terraform experience, including modules, state, drift detection, and multi-account patterns.
• Advanced Kubernetes skills, including RBAC, network policy, GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), operators, and resource management.
• Strong Go and/or Python skills, with the ability to build and ship production-grade internal tooling.
• Hands-on experience building tools with AI/LLM APIs integrated into engineering workflows.
• Production SQL proficiency and experience operating NoSQL platforms.
• Demonstrated experience designing and operating large-scale, multi-cluster observability solutions.
• DevSecOps experience covering vulnerability management, supply-chain security, and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
• Ability to scope ambiguous problems, drive solutions, and deliver independently.

Nice To Haves

• Background in a regulated industry, such as SaaS-based fintech, healthtech, or AI infrastructure.
• GPU infrastructure or AI model-serving experience, such as vLLM or SageMaker.
• Open-source development projects used by others.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate more than 50 EKS/GKE clusters, multi-tenant compute, autoscaling, and cluster lifecycle management across AWS and GCP.
• Own Terraform infrastructure as code for multi-account, multi-region environments spanning more than 200 repositories and services.
• Architect and operate end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Harness, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD, including supply-chain security, SBOMs, and progressive delivery.
• Build and operate large-scale observability stacks for metrics, logs, and distributed traces, using OpenTelemetry across clusters.
• Embed DevSecOps controls, including secret management, image signing with Cosign/Chainguard, OPA/Kyverno policy as code, and compliance automation.
• Create AI/LLM-powered internal tools for platform operations, incident triage, drift detection, and CI/CD automation.
• Operate SQL and NoSQL platforms at scale, including disaster recovery and schema lifecycle management.
• Partner with development teams from architecture review through production launch, and produce ADRs, runbooks, and engineering standards.
