About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of experience
• Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 6 years experience.

Nice To Haves

• Highly proficient in electrical and cableway design modeling and drawing extraction.
• Experience in developing and reviewing electrical products to ensure compliance with design standards and integration requirements.
• Strong understanding of electrical system layout principles, including equipment placement, routing strategies, and space optimization.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in collaborative team environments.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats.

Responsibilities

• Designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
• Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as, CAD, CAM or CATIA.
• Gathers information, makes studies, computes calculations, and prepares original rough layouts, sketches to present design proposal.
• Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning group such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications.
