Under limited supervision, performs administrative work for departmental activities and operations. Work involves assessing personal property, issuing local business licenses, posting excise tax assessments, preparing and processing state income tax returns, posting supplemental billings and abatements and updating/maintaining files/records. Employee must exercise tact, courtesy and discretion in frequent contact with taxpayers, co-workers, and the general public. Reports to the Chief Deputy or the Commissioner of the Revenue. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily.
