This role involves delivering and picking up fairs in an efficient and cost-effective manner, working closely with a supervisor to maintain customer service standards. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, communicating routing issues, delivering and picking up products from schools, and ensuring products are transported without damage. The driver will perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain accurate records (DOT Logs, trip sheets, etc.), and adhere to all company and government regulations (DOT, OSHA). Immediate reporting of accidents, delivery/pickup problems, or mechanical failures to the supervisor is required. The role also includes assisting with warehouse tasks, maintaining a professional appearance, attending monthly driver meetings, completing continuous training, and adhering to a drug and alcohol-free policy. The driver will utilize proper lifting and handling techniques for heavy objects and maintain a clean and safe work environment. This position involves city, suburban, and rural travel, with most drivers returning home the same day, though some overnight trips may occur. Regular attendance and compliance with the drug and alcohol-free policy are essential. Other duties as assigned.
