About The Position

Auto-Wares Group of Companies is hiring a full-time Automotive Parts Delivery Driver for its Auto Value store in South Haven, Michigan. The role involves helping customers, supporting store operations, and contributing to the company’s customer-service mission. The posting describes sales and counter duties, including customer interactions, product knowledge, returns, and assisting store personnel. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with Saturdays on rotation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in the automotive field.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• No major driving violations.
• No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years if over age 25, or in the past 5 years if under age 25.
• No more than one at-fault accident.
• Ability to comply with all physical requirements of the position, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds with both arms.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Create positive experiences with every customer interaction.
• Conduct activities from a customer-focused perspective and provide efficient, accurate expertise.
• Finalize sales through phone calls, in-person communication, and other methods.
• Develop knowledge of the parts and services offered to customers.
• Offer customers available product options and exemplify the company’s “Never Say No” values.
• Help maintain a clean and organized store appearance.
• Support daily store operations by processing returns and assisting newer store personnel.
