About The Position

Auto-Wares Group of Companies is hiring a part-time Automotive Parts Delivery Driver at its Maxi Automotive Grand Rapids location. The role delivers ordered automotive parts to customers in an authorized company vehicle, provides positive customer service, and supports the store’s daily operations. The position offers a flexible schedule of up to 29 hours per week: either three weekdays or two weekdays with Saturday. It is described as suitable for retirees, semi-retirees, college students, or others seeking a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license held for at least two years.
• No major driving violations.
• For applicants over 25, no more than two moving violations in the past three years; for applicants under 25, no more than two moving violations in the past five years.
• No more than one at-fault accident.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Pass a physical and drug screen.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with both arms.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and safely deliver ordered parts to customers using an authorized company vehicle.
• Create positive experiences through customer interactions.
• Ensure accurate and timely deliveries using the DASH delivery system.
• Help maintain a clean and organized store appearance.
• Process returns and assist newer store personnel.
