The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various types of equipment to prolong the serviceable life of all equipment. This role is for the first shift, including some weekends, holidays, evenings, and requires 24-hour emergency on-call availability. The technician will assist the Lead Maintenance Technician, perform routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements on equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, and blowers. Responsibilities also include conducting tests, performing vibration analysis, preparing pipes, performing metal cutting tasks (welding, brazing, soldering), maintaining records, and cleaning the shop area. The position requires a willingness to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and be on 24-hour emergency call.
