About The Position
Dana F. Cole & Company, LLP is seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant with a tax or audit emphasis to join its Lincoln team. This is a leadership opportunity with a potential track to partnership for the right candidate. The CPA will manage a client base and oversee small and medium-sized engagements from planning through delivery of financial statements and tax returns. The role offers varied work across tax preparation, audit, bookkeeping, and consulting, with opportunities for professional growth and specialization.
Requirements
- Licensed CPA.
- Significant public accounting experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and research skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial data to a broad range of clients.
- Prior experience supervising or managing teams.
- Strong client-service mindset and ability to build rapport and trust.
Nice To Haves
- Farm tax experience.
- Audit experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns.
- Assume responsibility for all phases of engagements, from planning through delivery of financial statements and tax returns for small and medium-sized clients.
- Identify issues with clients’ processes and controls and recommend improvements.
- Maintain quality client relationships.
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Supervise or manage teams.
