About The Position

Paychex is hiring a Channel Sales Associate to help small businesses with 1–99 employees manage their workforce through payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance solutions. The role generates business through CPA referral partners, existing client referrals, and outbound outreach. It involves building trusted relationships, maintaining a high level of daily sales activity, and managing a fast-paced sales cycle of approximately 1–2 weeks. The associate owns the sales process from prospecting through closing and works in a high-growth, high-volume environment with performance incentives and uncapped earning potential.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in a relevant sales or marketing role.
Valid driver's license.
Comfort with high activity levels, fast sales cycles, and transactional deal sizes.
Resilience, drive, and competitive motivation.
Coachability and the ability to quickly apply feedback.
Experience working toward goals or quotas in sales or a similar environment.
Demonstrated leadership experience through work, school, nonprofits, fraternities or sororities, clubs, or other organizations.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree.
One to five years of relevant experience.
Leadership experience such as serving as a treasurer, team lead, or project lead.
