About The Position

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a Health Information Management Department is required.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of a Health Information Management program with subsequent passing of the registry examination (RHIA) or accreditation (RHIT) is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of medical records, coding, and release of information and health information processes.
• Ensuring consistency with policies and procedures set forth by accrediting and regulatory agencies.
