About The Position

The Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for generating journal entries, assisting with the monthly closing process, and preparing financial statements. This role also involves preparing consolidation packages for the parent company, internal management documents, and monthly financial statements. Additionally, the coordinator will assist with physical inventory counts, record daily Honda sales and other sales, post received payments, and reconcile payment differences. Collaboration with Shipping, Sales, Purchasing, and Accounting departments for cost analysis is a key part of the role. Responsibilities include matching coil receiving tickets to HTA invoices, posting them, maintaining inter-company freight costs, and recording cost splits with J-Group. The position also supports the development and implementation of J-SOX and tracks/plans the cost of New Model Development.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting
• Five (5) or more years of accounting experience in a manufacturing company
• Experience in budget control
• Experience in inventory control
• Experience in fixed asset control
• Experience in payables
• Experience in receivables

Responsibilities

• Generate journal entries
