About The Position
H 2 O Innovation is a leading company in water and wastewater treatment, specializing in innovative water technologies, services, specialty products, and contract operations. We are seeking a Water/Sewer/Construction Laborer to join our team in Gulfport, MS. In this permanent & full-time role, the laborer will assist the crew with the installation, repair, & maintenance of underground water and sewer lines.
Requirements
- Ability to demonstrate proper use of assigned equipment
- Familiarity with work hazards and safety precautions
- Ability to deal with the public on a regular basis in a professional, courteous manner.
- Capability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions (all work is conducted outdoors)
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of water and sewer line repair and installation is a plus
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Help with installation, repairs and maintenance of water and sewer lines.
- Assist crew with completing work orders and meeting benchmarks
- Support the installation of new water and sewer taps.
- Ensure daily operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Participate in a rotating call/OT schedule, working one week at a time.
