About The Position

The Laborer performs physical tasks supporting heavy civil construction operations, including roadway, bridge, drainage, excavation, utility, and concrete work. The role assists skilled trades personnel and equipment operators while helping maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Reliable transportation and consistent, punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor associated with heavy civil construction projects.
• Assist with excavation, grading, utility installation, concrete placement, and roadway construction.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Clean and prepare job sites before, during, and after construction activities.
• Assist carpenters, equipment operators, and concrete crews with daily operations.
• Install erosion control measures and traffic control devices as directed.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely.
• Follow project plans, specifications, and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with company safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
