About The Position

Holder Construction is seeking a Laborer to join its Operations team on a project in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a full-time position. The Laborer supports field supervision and assists with worksite preparation, safety activities, material handling, carpentry projects, and deliveries. The role requires construction experience, practical safety and construction knowledge, critical thinking, and the ability to perform physically demanding work. Employment is contingent on substance abuse testing and a background screening. Holder Construction does not sponsor applicants for immigration status or benefits.

Requirements

At least one year of construction experience.
Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
Ability to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Ability to lift and carry materials of various shapes and sizes weighing 50–100 pounds 75% of the time.
Ability to remain agile and alert; stand or walk for long periods; use fingers, hands, and arms to reach, handle, and manipulate objects; climb ladders, scaffolds, and other objects; and work on uneven surfaces and at heights.
Ability to read and write, and to see and hear well naturally or with correction.
Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
Must pass substance abuse testing and a background screening as a condition of employment.
