About The Position

Holder Construction is seeking a Laborer to join its Operations team on a project in Conesville, Ohio. This is a full-time position. The Laborer provides primary support to field supervision by helping prepare and maintain the worksite, assisting the safety team and carpenters, handling jobsite materials, and loading and unloading deliveries. The role requires construction experience, general construction and safety knowledge, critical thinking, and the ability to perform physically demanding work. Work may take place outdoors and in an OSHA-compliant safety environment, with overtime and weekend hours preferred.

Requirements

Have at least 1 year of construction experience.
Understand safety and general construction practices.
Use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
Be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Be able to lift and carry materials of varying shapes and sizes weighing 50–100 pounds for 75% of the time.
Be agile and mobile, remain alert, stand or walk for long periods, and use fingers, hands, and arms to reach, handle, and manipulate objects.
Be able to climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects and work on uneven surfaces and at heights.
Be able to read and write and see and hear well, naturally or with correction.
Pass substance abuse testing and a background screening as a condition of employment.
