About The Position

Holder Construction is seeking a Laborer to join its Operations team on a project in Columbus, Ohio. This is a full-time position supporting field supervision and construction-site operations. The role involves preparing and cleaning the worksite, assisting the safety team and carpenters, handling materials, and helping load and unload deliveries. The work requires frequent heavy lifting and physical activity, including standing or walking for extended periods, climbing, and working on uneven surfaces or at heights. Applicants must have construction experience and general construction and safety knowledge. Requirements

At least 1 year of construction experience.
Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
Ability to use critical thinking to solve worksite issues.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Ability to lift and carry materials of various shapes and sizes weighing 50–100 pounds 75% of the time.
Ability to remain alert and agile/mobile, stand or walk for long periods, and use fingers, hands, and arms to reach, handle, and manipulate objects.
Ability to climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects, and work on uneven surfaces or at heights.
Ability to read and write, and to see and hear well, naturally or with correction.
Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
Employment is conditional on substance abuse testing and a background screening.
