About The Position

Holder Construction is seeking Laborers to join its Operations team on a project in Sparks, Nevada. This is a full-time, hourly position working night shift. The role supports field supervision and involves preparing and cleaning the worksite, moving materials, assisting the safety team and carpenters, and helping load and unload deliveries. The position requires construction experience, familiarity with safety and general construction, critical thinking, and substantial physical activity, including lifting and carrying materials weighing 50–100 pounds for much of the work time. Work may take place outdoors, on uneven surfaces, and at heights.

Requirements

At least 1 year of construction experience.
Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
Ability to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Ability to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50–100 pounds for 75% of the time.
Ability to remain agile and mobile, stay alert, stand or walk for long periods, and use fingers, hands, and arms to reach, handle, and manipulate objects.
Ability to climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects, and work on uneven surfaces and at heights.
Ability to read and write, and to see and hear well naturally or with correction.
Punctuality and promptness every day.
