About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 4–5 years of commercial credit analyst experience in a banking environment.
• Strong credit risk assessment skills.
• Strong financial statement analysis skills.
• Strong memo and presentation writing skills.
• Knowledge of banking accounting rules, regulations, and policies.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Clear communication skills.
• Mentoring and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Spread and analyze financial statements and tax returns.
• Complete global cash flow and collateral analysis.
• Prepare independent credit memos and loan presentations.
• Complete annual relationship and loan reviews.
• Partner with lenders to gather and clarify financial details and documentation.
• Take ownership of the bank’s most complex credit relationships.
• Serve as a resource and coach newer analysts on structure, cash flow, and risk.
• Reinforce credit policies and offer feedback on department direction.
• Prioritize work, track progress against deadlines, and prepare for committee or approval conversations.
