About The Position

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred
• 1 year of experience in acute care setting is preferred
• CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) or PCT (Patient Care Technician) certification in state of practice is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care under the direction of a registered nurse
• Provide care for patients according to the standards of care
• Facilitate patient and clerical activities on a unit
• Manage documentation and communication of information necessary for patient care
• Handle system management, chart assembly and analysis
• Conduct customer service/public relations activities related to patient care and unit operations
