About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists with unit and patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. The role has full access to patient health information and may have access to medication storage areas, excluding controlled substances, as related to job responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent, unless currently enrolled in high school and participating in the CATS program for the NC.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Listed in good standing with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation.
- Willingness to obtain CNA 1+4 Skills within six months of hire.
